It is important that we use the same technical expressions to describe
the specifications, and therefore we made a list of some technical
data to facilitate the ordering of GRAF Dies and Roll Shells. |
| In order to be able to supply the correct die we need to know the type of Pellet mill and the general dimensions of the die being uses. If you wish we can make the die to your hole pattern specification, otherwise we will manufacture the die to our own hole pattern, which from experience is designed to give best results with the required hole specification, for wear pattern and die ring strength. |

Type
1: straight hole |
Type 2: Taper hole entry For extra compression. Itīs important to note the taper angle and taper depth. |
Type 3:
Well hole entry For high compression. Itīs important to note the well diameter and well depth. |

Type 4a and 4b:
Outside counterbore To retain die ring strength but give the required pelleting length where necessary. |

Type 5:
Outer and inner rows of holes relieved with either a straight or tapered outside counterbore. |

Type 6:
Outer rows relieved and outside counterbore. |

Although most of the dies are manufactured today with a round hole form we can also manufacture the hole combination and forms shown beside. |
| We also need to know the type of Pellet Mill and general dimensions of the Roll Shell, see illustration beside. |
| Roll Shells can be supplied with either Dimpled or Corrugated surface configurations. Corrugated Rolls are further defined as Wide, Fine or Close-end corrugations. |
